Many older people struggle to perform everyday tasks such as taking care of their appearance and maintaining personal hygiene.
Our carers will support your loved one with all aspects of personal care, including bathing, grooming, hair care, shaving, and dressing, which in turn allows the client to live life to the full without being anxious about their appearance.
Our highly-trained and experienced carers will treat your loved one with the utmost respect, dignity, and modesty at all times, minimising the potential for any discomfort or embarrassment.
For Securematics HealthCare, the main objective of our personal care services is to help clients have pride in their appearance whilst also maintaining good personal hygiene.
That said, we understand that personal care is quite intimate by its very nature, and are mindful to do all we can to minimise feelings of embarrassment or vulnerability.
We liaise with social services, GPs, physios, family members and the client to identify those particular areas in which support is required, and then implement the agreed care plan with the utmost dignity and respect.
Preparing meals and assistance with eating
Monitoring of and help with prescribed medication, creams, ointments and drops
Support with moving around your home, and getting out and about
Support with household maintenance, including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning
